Mid-Week Fishing Report: August 24-26, 2013 (2 1/2 days)

First group in this season fishing at our Fly-in Floating Cabins stationed at our private fishery at the Igapo-Acu river in the Muhura reservation. Great start for this 5 angler group who landed in these 2 ½ days a total of 229 peacocks, with 8 over 10 lbs and the largest weighing 17lbs.

No significant rain on the last weekend and water levels are improving daily. CPTEC Brazil´s Climate prevision agency (http://clima1.cptec.inpe.br) accumulated rain report on the last weekend, showing stable conditions and small rain throughout the weekend follows. Check rain forecast probabilities also for Novo Aripuana.

We are fine tuning our satellite data connection with the camp and expect to be able to include images next week. Voice connection via satellite phone is working fine.
