Mid-Week Fishing Report: Aug 04 – 06, 2018 (2 ½ days)
OPTIMAL FISHING CONDITIONS AT THE MARMELOS RIVER.


Dry-Zone S.East
Water levels are at the optimal level and keep slowly descending (see graph below - Humaita). Weather forecast confirms tendency showing some mild tropical storms with no significant rainfall (see forecast below - Manicore).



NOTE that the yellow area at the North affecting the Amazon basin and our fisheries makes us believe that it might have a positive influence (70%) in our fisheries, averting extreme water levels for the rest of the season.

Weather forecast for Manicore , in the area of influence of the Marmelos private fishery shows some normal mild tropical storms with no significant rainfall.

Dry-Zone S.West
Water levels are still a bit too high for good fishing, but keep dropping as expected, which is normal for this time of the year. We are constantly scouting this area to determine date to break waters.

Water levels are high and peaking in the Barcelos area, closed for the season, which is normal for this time of the year (see map below).
Dry-Zone N.East
Water levels are high, closed for the season, which is normal for this time of the year.
