Reasons for this Season´s good fishing results are our various private fisheries distributed in the different Dry-Zones. This season´s changing water levels have once again confirmed our vision. Our guests continue to enjoy good peacock bass fishing conditions while the public areas on the Barcelos / Negro Basin , Dry Zone N.West and part of Dry-Zone N.East, as of 3 weeks ago are almost all flooded, and the not flooded areas are packed with competitors!
Heavy rain is expected towards the end of the week in all the area, starting on Friday, but should benefit our fishing since many fisheries are even too dry for navigation.
Water levels are high, closed for the season, which is normal for this time of the year.

(beige in map above) Dry-Zone N.WestWater levels are about 3.0 ft. above jungle level and rising which is not normal for this time of the year. The Negro influence is being felt in the lower sectors of the Xeruini and Jufaris, floating suites are now moving upriver towards good water levels.
The Branco basin is in its normal receding cycle. Fishing conditions continue to be good in all our fisheries. Negligible rain during the weekend and heavy rain is expected on Friday, Saturday.
